Our Services

From consulting and strategy development to implementation and support, we are Pioneering Health Solutions for a Resilient South Sudan.

At the Canal Institute for Medical Research and Innovation (CIMRI), we bridge the gap between scientific discovery and life-saving action in Africa’s youngest nation. Born from South Sudan’s urgent need for context-specific healthcare strategies, we combine cutting-edge research with grassroots innovation to tackle challenges ranging from post-conflict recovery to climate-sensitive disease patterns. Our work operates at three critical intersections:

  1. Science & Sovereignty – Developing homegrown research leadership to reduce dependency on external expertise

  2. Data & Decision-Making – Transforming complex findings into actionable policy blueprints

  3. Tradition & Technology – Blending indigenous knowledge with AI-driven diagnostics and drone-based delivery systems

As the only WHO-certified research hub in South Sudan, we serve as both a think tank and implementation partner – turning peer-reviewed evidence into impact.
